Lincoln-based group travel planner Travefy recently took top honor and was awarded an $8,500 prize package in a local “Shark Tank”-like pitch competition.
More than 30 companies applied to present their ideas at Get Started Omaha, a competition held April 24th at the Holland Performing Arts Center in downtown Omaha. The event was hosted by Cox Business and Inc. magazine.
Travefy was one of only five companies selected to pitch their ideas live to a panel of judges and in front of an audience of over 200.
“It was an honor to participate in the event and win among such a talented and inspiring set of companies. We also greatly appreciate the expert panel advice and everyone who came out to the event”, said Travefy CEO and co-found David Chait.
