Nebraska Global continues to foster the development of an influential technology environment in Nebraska with the announcement of Beehive Industries. This is the fourth deal announced by the Lincoln, Nebraska-based software investment fund.
Beehive Industries has developed a software suite and framework for managing assets and infrastructure of any kind, with the initial focus on local government and public utilities. The Beehive suite was specifically designed to make complex processes as simple as possible for users while exceeding the quality and capabilities expected in an asset management suite.
Initial modules cover the management of several utilities, including wastewater, water, and stormwater. In addition, Beehive has created a dynamic public portal as part of our Self Service Government initiative.
Bill Sheldon, President of Beehive Industries, notes, “We are using today’s technologies to deliver a comprehensive solution that feels good to use. The incredible resources that Nebraska Global brings have allowed us to quickly build a game-changer in the infrastructure management industry.”
“Beehive is an excellent fit for us as the teams can really leverage veteran technology with deep domain expertise to create an entire asset management platform that makes competitive options look generally bloated at best; in price, licensing terms, and lagging technology,” states Patrick Smith, Principal and COO of Nebraska Global. “Beehive will be a major player in a very short period of time and we look forward to the continued success and journey with the team.”
Beehive plans for sixteen additional modules to become available in the following months. Learn more at www.beehiveindustries.com.
