The Where Nebraska Horizon

We’re okay with the perception of Nebraska as a geographic wasteland of nothingness; the Internet renders location practically irrelevant. Truth is, the state is hardly disadvantaged by its location. Being situated in a median time zone from both coasts has its perks, including sufficient communication capabilities and convenient air travel east and west. Largely unaffected by the recession, Nebraska is also fortunate enough to boast a steady economy paced by the fourth highest percentage of graduating high school seniors in the nation. With the help of comprehensive information science, business, technology, and engineering programs at respected state universities, many of these graduates are groomed to be the nerds Nebraska Global so desires.

Bottom line: Nebraska makes a strong case for becoming a place that supports a strong software infrastructure. While the pieces are there, Nebraska simply needs someone to put them all together.

That's why we're here.
